A floor SIP designed around the way builders actually build.

Traditional floor panels can be heavy, difficult to manoeuvre and awkward to install — particularly when panels need to be lifted, positioned and fixed manually.

SipsPacific Lightweight Floor SIPs are only 600 mm wide, making individual panels easier to handle, position and install while maintaining a high-performance insulated floor system.

The panel combines a durable MgO surface with a high-performance GPS insulation core to create a lightweight, insulated floor panel suitable for rapid-build construction.

DESIGNED FOR EASY HANDLING

600 mm wide panels

The narrower panel format is deliberate.

Instead of trying to manoeuvre large, heavy floor panels into position, builders can work with smaller individual panels that are easier to carry, align and install.

Less panel width = easier handling.

This can be particularly valuable where:

  • Access to the building site is restricted

  • Floor panels need to be manually positioned

  • Installation is being undertaken by a small crew

  • Working space around the building is limited

  • Rapid installation is important

SIMPLE SPLINE JOINT SYSTEM

Panels are joined using a 2400 mm long structural MgO spline system.

The spline provides a continuous jointing element between floor panels and creates a consistent fixing zone.

WHY 600 mm?

BECAUSE FLOOR PANELS HAVE TO BE HANDLED

Floor installation is different from wall installation.

Panels must be lifted, manoeuvred, positioned and accurately aligned while working at floor level.

The SipsPacific 600 mm format is designed to reduce the handling challenge while retaining the advantages of SIP construction.
